Treasure Chest Chronicles #1

gratitudeSaturday I mentioned that I  recently found an old journal or Treasure Chest with some of my old poems and book ideas in it.  While the sentiment of this poem may not be relevant for me now, I'm sure we've all had moments like this. If by chance you are having a moment like this, I assure you it gets better. All you have to do is keep on Stroking.  Enjoy the blast from the past. See you tomorrow. Same time, same bat channel. Gratitude Tuesdays are back and  you don't have to wait for Thanksgiving for something to be Thankful for. Peace, Style and Blessings.

Love and Hate (1998)

There is a thin line between love and hate

There in no need to debate

I can't wait to get you out of my sight

Then just as quick I want to hold you tight

You speak and I want to wrap my hands around your throat and squeeze with all my might

There's a thin line between love and hate

There's no need to debate

Event the devil knows there is a fine line between love and hate

We're drifting further apart

Imaginary line is getting thinner and thinner

Wondering if being apart is better

Would there be a winner

We yell, scream, cuss and shout

How much longer before one of us walks out

Takes the keys and leaves forever

Like I said wondering if that wouldn't be better

There's a thin line between love and hate

There's no need to debate

We are on a slippery slate

For us there is almost no line between love and hate
